Before and After: Met Ball 2012

Starlets, actors, musicians, athletes, designers, artists, and models all attended the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” themed Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala on May 7, 2012. Considered the fashion and entertainment industry biggest and most glamorous red carpet event, the 2012 Met Ball helped raised over $11 million to fund the annual expenses of the Costume Institute. Many of the famous attendees checked into the Carlyle and Mark hotels on the Upper East Side to prepare for what is considered to be fashion’s annual prom. Later in the evening, limousines dropped guests three blocks down from the Metropolitan Museum for the invite-only official after party hosted by designer Miuccia Prada at the Fletcher-Sinclair mansion.
